We understand that choosing a school is rarely just about academics. It’s about finding a place where your child will feel safe, supported, and genuinely happy.
We recently sat down with one of our parents, Mr. Jerome — a father of two Odyssey students and part of our community for the past two years — to hear what guided his school search and how his family’s journey led them to us.
As he shared, they weren’t simply looking for strong academics, but for “a place where our child would feel safe, supported, and truly happy.”
What made Odyssey stand out to him was the sense of community. From the very beginning, he noticed how teachers took the time to understand his children “as individuals — not just as students.”
Over time, that care translated into meaningful growth. As Jerome describes, he has seen “incredible growth — not only academically, but in confidence, communication, and independence.”
Looking back on the past two years, Jerome reflects that choosing Odyssey has been “one of the best decisions for our family.”
Because ultimately, the right school is not only where children learn — but its where children grow and thrive.
The right school isn’t only about curriculum or facilities. It’s about how your child feels when they walk through the doors each morning. It’s about knowing they are seen, supported, and encouraged to grow into their fullest potential.
Jerome’s story is one example of what many Odyssey families share: a sense of belonging, steady academic progress, and children who come home more confident than when they left.
If you’re exploring options and wondering where your child will not only learn, but truly thrive, we hope this conversation offers helpful insight into what life at Odyssey can look like.
