Middle Years Programme MYP
Ages 11 - 15

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) offers a dynamic yet challenging framework that focuses on connecting learning to the world around us. Students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and approach problems with a global mindset. Through interdisciplinary projects, they explore how different subjects connect and with real-world issues, helping them understand how knowledge can be applied in meaningful and practical ways.
The MYP Personal Project, a year-long independent inquiry project each student undertakes, encourages creativity and strong self-management. This phase nurtures resilience, independence, and social responsibility, preparing students to meet new challenges with both confidence and compassion.
The school currently operates up to Year 7, continuing to add one new grade each year as we continue to grow, expecting to launch the IBDP by 2029.
What Makes the MYP Unique

Inquiry-Driven Learning
Students explore real-world questions,
think critically, and learn how to apply knowledge across subjects, not just
memorize facts

Interdisciplinary Approach
Teachers connect subjects so students understand the bigger picture. For example, science and design may be used together to solve a sustainability problem.

Holistic Development
The programme focuses on academic excellence as well as personal, social, and emotional growth. Students learn how to collaborate, lead, and manage their time.

Skill-Building for Life
The MYP develops key skills such as communication, research, self-management, and analytical thinking, which prepare students for higher learning and global careers.
MYP Subject Groups
Students study eight subject groups each year, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive education
