Learning
Languages
Mastering diverse languages is the crucial first step toward embracing open and international-mindedness, respect, and effective global communication. Our comprehensive Language Program is designed to foster both high-level proficiency and deep cultural understanding.

Language of Instruction
All subjects are taught in English, giving students a common language for learning and collaboration. As part of our admissions process, we review each child’s English level to ensure they can access the curriculum comfortably. If extra support is needed, we provide it so every student can feel confident, included, and ready to succeed.
English
Language
Support (ELS)
Students who need extra help in English receive three additional ELS lessons each week. These small-group sessions focus on building vocabulary, reading, writing, and communication skills so students can participate confidently in class. Support is personalized to each learner’s level, helping them succeed in our IB learning environment.
Additional Languages
Vietnamese
We offer two pathways in Vietnamese to support both native speakers and students learning the language for the first time.
Vietnamese as a Mother Tongue
This stream is designed for our Vietnamese students and focuses on strengthening national language skills and cultural identity.
Advanced Skills & Culture (taught 3 times a week), that follow the MOET curriculum to develop advanced Vietnamese language proficiency while exploring Vietnamese history, literature, and culture.
Vietnamese as a Foreign Language (FL)
Created for non-Vietnamese speakers, this pathway helps students build foundational language skills and connect with the local community.
Dedicated classes (taught 3 times a week) that provide a supportive introduction to the Vietnamese language, pronunciation, and everyday communication.

French
We offer two pathways in French to support students at different levels of proficiency.
French as a Foreign Language
For students with little or no previous experience, this pathway provides an introduction to French through three lessons each week, building confidence and a strong foundation in the language.
Intensive French
Designed for students who already have prior French knowledge, this track offers a more advanced and fast-paced learning experience to further develop their skills.
Grammar & Language Development (3 times a week). Students strengthen grammar, expand vocabulary, and deepen overall language skills.
French Culture & Context (2 times a week taught after school): These sessions explore French culture, history, and science in an engaging way. Students apply the vocabulary they know in English, making the transition to MYP French—or back to a French-speaking school—much smoother.
