Vince from Melbourne, Australia, Vince has been teaching Primary students for a decade. During his time teaching in Australia, Europe and Asia he has been able to create fun and educational environments where students feel safe, valued and can enjoy their learning. Holding degrees in Education as well as Marketing/Tourism, Vince uses class time to focus on emotional and social development, resilience, self esteem, cooperation, independence and critical thinking as well as recognising the need for teaching literacy, reading and writing skills within a helpful group environment.Vince is excited to be a part of the team at Odyssey and is lookward to seeing the school, and its students, grow to embody the values of our school.
Maxine's career path began in the UK, where she qualified as both a teacher and social worker, working with children for many years before relocating to Australia for the past 30 years. Holding a Master of Educational Studies from the University of Queensland, Maxine has considerable experience in teaching, counseling, and supporting students of diverse abilities and backgrounds. She specializes in behavior management, special and inclusive needs, and guidance and counseling, making her a crucial member of our team focused on student well-being.Maxine firmly believes in nurturing students' full potential, both academically and as future global citizens. Grounded in core literacy and numeracy skills, her approach encourages students to become motivated, engaged critical thinkers capable of working independently and collaboratively. Maxine is looking forward to participating in the development and growth of Odyssey International School.
Sarah is a dedicated and passionate educator who has been nurturing young minds for over 20 years. Born in Kenya and raised in Zimbabwe, she has spent the last 10 years teaching in Asia. Holding a degree in Early Childhood Education, she is deeply committed to the foundational years of children's learning and development. Her pedagogical approach is rooted in care, respect, and nurturing each child's unique potential, creating a supportive and stimulating environment where curiosity is encouraged and progress is celebrated. Watching her students grow and learn new things each day brings her great joy, as she fosters a love for learning that will last a lifetime. With two decades of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a heartfelt passion for early childhood education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and photography.
